Hi all,

here is my asphalt setup from my last national round in a big track with medium traction: http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/robi...2010042425.pdf

Also you will find here some documents information about the car: http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/robi...ronicAvid2.htm

And especially this very helpful editable blank setup sheet (big thanks to Arnaud from petitrc who made it ) : http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/robi...tupSheetV2.pdf

One of the point to take care is to check your downstop before each run. I notice that on my car it is not really consistant, I have to adjust it each time to be sure everything is ok.
By the way, the car is nice on asphalt like that, good corner speed, stable with lot of steering!
I just soften a bit the car removing some screws from the topdeck and especially the ones from the steering posts (as are doing tamiya drivers for example)

So I got one and it looks sweet but anyone have an idea of what the lipo option looks like maybe even a picture? I am curious because I do not see how a lipo battery will clear the steering unless you hang it way off the car. I would prefer to have my lipo alot closer to center of the chassis. Also when will they be available?

Hi guys,
did you noticed installing the car that the front anti roll bar hit into the front knuckle when it is all turned??

I think that they need to be cutted a couple of millimiters....

Anyway i like the car, except for some dettails, like the already mentioned anti roll bar, brass Ball end (...) and the shocks piston that are very poor..

On the other hand the differential is extremely good, quality of carbon and alluminium parts (comparable with major brand) are very good and the assembly is easy.

You may want to contact someone at SK Motion and find out what you may be doing wrong. They have some great help over there.

I am not doing anything wrong they only go on one way. Its just a messed up design on a real nice car other wise. I did how ever discover that the shumacher mI4 lipo mounts work perfect on the car.

Ok I will call but I do not see how a phone call will fix some thing that does not have instuctions. It really can only be installed one way. From what I can tell only a limited size hard case lipo will work with the lipo holder. Why dont you guys post some pictures of one installed and with a lipo in place or instructions. Again I have not raced the car yet but will this weekend and like I said the car looks awesome but lipo holder wont work with this lipo for example.

i'm also joined the avid club ,
yday night completed the assembly, but i have a big issue with the shocks assembly, the lower shock cap (RA0152/4) doesn't fit into the shock body, it seems that the thread of the shock cap is different from the thread of shock body , i'm thinking to replace them with the tamiya ones.

ciao
Max
