I reset the car using one of the asphalt setup sheets from Marcos J and the car drives excellent with lots of traction and steering! I'll see how it does next race on Dec 20th. It is absolutely more controllable and easier to drive now.

This will be my first On-road build. Anything I need to pay attention to during the build? What is recommended/needed for option parts?
Anyone have a good setup for a medium grip carpet track?
Thanks in advance 😊🙏

look out on shock build east to cross thread the shock bodies when screwing on alloy bits it’s ok just pay 100% attention to them lol upgrades it’s fine out the box just get anti roll bars
u could put the xq1 shocks on and hinge pin holders for more adjustments if you want
there is the mid motor kit for it but if you only just got it run it first it’s mega bang for buck out the box
also If you fitting alloy chassis (if you go to high grip carpet ) u will need xq1 motor mount and lay shaft holders

Make sure all the suspension falls free. That way the sway bars will work perfectly. Check the sway bars on glass and measure the endlinks well. Get the AL steering posts and extra shims. Check that the rear belt is not as tight as the front. Grease up the turnbuckles, droop screws, and the top deck screws with Chapstick or similar. Use a 5mm or 6mm ballstud on the lower arms instead of the 8mm setscrew.

Here's what I came up with. This is on a dusty parking lot track. No spray.

If you need anything else please let me know. I'm in-process of trying a completely different set-up and now have the mid-motor set-up, with more changes to come but I'll help you get to where you need to be. Plus Felix Law is down that way and he'll be glad to help any fellow Xpress racers too.
