Movie theaters were your standard Century theaters. We did see two movies while there, Cars and Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift. Cars is a good movie to see even if you do not have kids. They will not get some of the humor anyhow. F&F is about the same as the other two and will lead into a fourth sequel.

F&F sucked to me. Didn't care for it really. I still plan on taking the kids to see cars. Thanks for the report.

I don't know that it's a dress per-se, more like an "outfit" really

Reservations can be made though IIC Website Make sure to check your dates to coincide with your arrival and departure.
If you are rooming with someone, please send me a PM (if you have not done so already) to let me know who you are with.
Remember you have to be staying at the South coast in order to be able to participate in the 2006 IIC.

I went through the list from the hotel this past weekend and we have accounted for about 75% of the racers.
The South coast Hotel does the similar thing to what the Stardust did last year. They have a guard at the elevators checking for room key cards 24/7.

We will be out there this weekend. Stay tuned for an announcment within the next 48 hours.

As always if you have any questions please let me know
Thanks
Boomer
Taking this one step further.

All Racers need to be aware that they have a limit of 4 people per room. I called anonymously (Toll Free: 1-866-796-7111) to verify this and was told the maximum for people to a room is 4.

I have a list from 6-19-06 and alot of racers have a room reserved for only 1 or 2 people.

I know they check key cards before they let you into the elevators to the rooms. They will give you the number of cards to match your reservation.

I just don't want any of the racers to have issues with rooms come race week. We will not be able to help much with hotel issues during the week of the race.

If you have questions or concerns please pm me or send an email to [email protected]

See you in September
Thanks
Boomer
