Please don't post the Hasselhoff one. I had nightmares last time you posted it.

At the South Coast as I type this. I know I am a few months early but wife and I drove down for a mini vacation and the rooms here are awesome!!. Yeah it is deffinitely not close to anything at all but who cares since there is a casino and will be some serious carpet action going on!!! Just don't do what I did after droppin your friends/significant other off at the front door. I was able after I left her at the curb with the bags to follow a valet into the valet parking garage. Once in there I was not able to get back out since I did not have a proper key do make the gate work. I backed out of the exit and asked someone how to get out of there. He said wait there security on the way to help you. This guy thought I was taken over his damn garage!!! Hand on gun and everything askin me for license and registration. He then realized I was not tryin to invade the hotel and had me follow a valet back out of the garage. I guess the moral of this story is don't stop at Margaritaville first and you should not make mistakes such as this!!!

Yeti,

I do stupid things like that all the time...Fortunately, I will be coming in someone else's vehicle.

I notice the IIC-News page says 1/12 scale limited to 40 entries, but the current entry list has 76 listed for 1/12 scale stock. Can I still enter 1/12 stock? Or would I be on a waiting list?

As far as I know entry is closed with a waiting list already. Hopefully Boomer will let you know for sure if you can get in or not but I seriously doubt it.

12th scale stock had to be extended due to volume.

Entries have been closed since May 8th. A few got into the race from the waiting list.
There still a few on the waiting list. We are accepting no new entries at this time.

Thank you
Boomer

Whew! Glad to hear from you Yeti! You had been quiet. I thought either you got locked in the garage again or got arrested

2 Months and 15 days to go!

The first day in LV was the only eventful day I had while down there. It was the bartenders fault at Margaritaville that I ended up in the valet garage. He clouded my judgement with too damn much tequilla!!!

I only have one complaint about the South Coast, the rooms are too comfy and I may not want to leave them while down there!! Shower head heights for normal size people is a big plus. The phone right by the throne is really good too if you run out of TP and maybe need some dry towels!!

Hats off to Scotty and Boomer for finding a new home for the IIC!!

God that would be really awesome. Maybe ask for a small frig, comfy seat & a tv. After all that you would be set & wouldn't have to leave.

Peace Aaron(W-W)

How was the movie theater? We have not had a chance to check it out yet.

****************Reminder****************

If you have not made your reservation please do so ASAP.
Reservations can be made though IIC Website Make sure to check your dates to coincide with your arrival and departure.
If you are rooming with someone, please send me a PM (if you have not done so already) to let me know who you are with.
Remember you have to be staying at the South coast in order to be able to participate in the 2006 IIC.

I went through the list from the hotel this past weekend and we have accounted for about 75% of the racers.
The South coast Hotel does the similar thing to what the Stardust did last year. They have a guard at the elevators checking for room key cards 24/7.

We will be out there this weekend. Stay tuned for an announcment within the next 48 hours.

As always if you have any questions please let me know
Thanks
Boomer
