Nah, I think he was referring to something else since my email notification gave me his original post. I know it is an SUV and it should fly down the highway way better then the last box SUV I had!!

I thought you spelled Touareg wrong. Had to go to the Vdub website to see you were right. Now, if I could just pronounce it...Dang...I hate getting old.

It's all good Bill, spelling is about the one of the only things I am still good at!! It is supposed to be pronounced
Twa-reg if that helps you. I think it is funny what the name means myself, it is some fighting tribe of people in the Sahara desert. Kind of an odd name for a car if you ask me. At least it is not like meaning of the word Pajero that Mistubishi used a few years ago. I will let you research that one yourself!!

An odd name, to be sure. But VW has a history of using desert themed names. Scirroco, for instance, is a desert wind. There are other examples but I can't remember them, as I am almost as old as Bill, and memory is the second thing to go

Boomer is in Florida for a few days, he will answer questions if he can get online, otherwise he should be back early next week.

Lots of racers from the Reedy race are psyched for Vegas. Rheinard told me that he and his brother will be there, and their Dad is coming this year too.
