Boomer, you going to be checking the PO Box tomorrow evening? I know lots of people express mailed their entries (myself included) and they will be there by noon your time tomorrow. I'm hoping to hear a confirmation of my entry soon so I can breathe.

I am planning on getting some shells done before the race and was wondering if someone would take a minute to point me in the right direction. I currently race (Carpet rubber) the Protoform Mazda 6 for most tracks and sometimes the Stratus 3.0 AP and Carpet versions. Most of the setup sheets I have looked at show that people use the Parma Alfa but they are foam setups.

My question is - is the butt-ugly Parma Alfa the only usable Carpet Rubber body for this race or do I have any usable alternatives?

Thanks for your time.

- Emil

@Anders - sounds like you gonna be busy in Vegas

The Mazda 6 was by far the most common body for the rubber tire classes last year. The Parma Alpha and Protoform G6 are the best bets for foam tires.

I got the same thing. I guess Trackside doesn't open before 10:30.

They're going by post mark and arrival time. If they fill up entries marked today, and yours takes 1 week to get there but everyone else's takes 2 days that sent them on the same day, yours will be counted after theirs.

Does that make since? Not sure if I said it right.

No it does not make sense, it says right on the form by post mark date and reciept of entry, not arrival time.

I could of sent it first day air but I saw that and didnt worry. If I get shut out becasue of that Im not gonna be happy. Mine was in the mail at 1:10 yesterday.

Thumbs up

I wouldn't worry too much, Larry. I sent mine the same way as you did yesterday, and mailed it at about the same time too.

They'll get there tomorrow. Despite all the hype on this particular thread, I really don't think it's going to fill up on the first day.
