Yes...its true...I will stipulate that Mr Lee did have a good strong run in 1\12th for a number of years. And then I figured out a few things.

Well, I guess Perry isn't willing to talk about his golf game. Good move.

This ain't no golfer's forum. Its about handout spec motors. And I will say once again that I really do enjoy racing with our awesome Motiv handouts....although I do admit that it would be even better if they were 10.5s.

I believe the writing is on the wall regarding spec/handout/sealed motors. You have two of the largest and oldest motor producers that have motors failing tech at big races due to "manufacturing issues," one of which just a short time ago had a series of motors removed from the ROAR approval list for similar issues. I can only imagine the same type of repercussions are coming and I'm afraid the customer is going to be left holding the bag when the dust settles.

For those of us not keeping up with the latest gossip, what motors have had the "manufacturing issues"?

easier said which ones were not. I know of only 1 manufacturer who choose not to even submit a motor so that they would not have to go to the extremes.

If 17.5 is to be a offered class at large events might as well go outlaw 17.5 ... So big wire / large rotors are all NOT frowned upon....
