D drive chassis
I have a D drive Chaswsis on my old 103, and I have to say that car handled beautifully, the moncoch chassis improved regidity, and it was a dream to drive, not the easiest to work on though.

This image is a little more informative... it certainly stiffens the chassis and adds a bit more scale realism.

I'm still looking for a new F1 chassis and the more I think about this car the more I like the design. Their is a lot of flex, stress and fatigue on the narrow front portion of the typical F1 chassis plate. The monocoque design solves this problem and looks more scale.

... Very cool to have the different upper arm option for finer camber adjustment. Infinity take an interesting approach with their product line - refining some of the best kits on the market (Arc, Mugen) and it looks like they will do the same with their F1 although the prototype appears to have parts from several manufactures Serpent, Destiny, Xenon, Roche - hard to tell for sure.

It's a miracle - sturdy looking servo saver included! That might seal the deal for me... no more buying Xray kits just for the servo savers LOL.

Looks like a PITA to work on anything at the front of the car. Also there is a front/rear split now in the chassis, might introduce a wear/break/flex point. Other than that, it looks super cool. I wouldn’t mind having one as a novelty. I missed the boat many years ago on the D-drive F103 monocoque.

Also thats kind of the whole reason for the monocoque design is for tuning the flexibility of the chassis.

Hey man if you say so. Don’t get me wrong, I like it. Is it practical? Not so much. To get access to the servo, you need to remove the top half, which includes the upper arms, maybe disassembling the steering knuckles. And that just an example. Hopefully you don’t need to get to that servo horn very often.
