You have to turn down the gain in the gyro especially if you notice it's more jittery. Mine is about 32%. There's a few videos on youtube that demonstrate a good starting point. I have a Sakura D4 rwd and really enjoy it. But I had to add a few hopups to get it to setup like I wanted. Yokomo cars seem to be better out of the box since their focus is on drift. Of course there's lots of other brands but that's what is popular here.
