For simply buying foams to mount you can't overlook T.M. Racing Tires (http://www.tm-rc-racingcomponents.com/) since their tires are the same type as CRC/Parma/Jaco/TRC/BSR (yes there are small nuances between all of them but they are all pretty close it seems to me). Also, since it appears that Corrally may make an adaptable setup for standard rims you have to check those out as well since they are amongst the most durable and light weight around. T.M. Racing sells a LOT of tires and does Very well in both Oval and On-Road racing and they have recently started to include the actual durometer number along with the color code inside each wheel. There are also other developments afoot that I can't speak of right now that will make them even better.

The car looks great and light, but it suprizes me that no one is talking about the dampertubes. I sure hope they are going to change them, because they are just a piece of junk. You have to re-fill them everytime you go out and they are very sloppy. If you ask me that was the first part they had to change.

Syndrome -

I have an "OLD" front wheel adapter from a company called Du-Mor racing from way back in the early 90's.

That way I can change the front compound for more or less front bite.

I definitely agree with.

I'm running the Snowbirds so I've had a chance to go to Corally and see Simo's car first-hand. Its beautiful and fast on the track. As for a release date, the guys at Corally USA didn't even know about this car until they saw this thread last week. I'm thinking if they didn't know about it, it can't be too close to a release date. Oh, and Corally USA is working with a fab shop to produce wheel adapters so you can run Jaco foams on the car...at least that's what I was told when I asked.

Here's a PDF file from Corally with a little more information, and new pictures.

Yo Bob,
That thing is, well, the best looking car I have ever seen. I am going to wait for it.

With Corally USA working on getting adapters made so this thing can run "normal" tires, it could really be a hit in the states. It's going to end up dragging me into 12th scale I'm afraid.

Looks like it comes standard with ceramic bearings. Nice.

I noticed that also. Ceramic bearings in a car that already is going to roll forever.

If you look at this pic of Chris Doseks car from the Birds that Brian Anthony posted he's running standard wheels. I'm guessing he's got adapters????

Default sp12m

Hey all,
Not to turn this into a sp12m fourm, but does anyone know were I can get the white fiberglass t-bars that I've seen most of the team guys using.

I've got the new sp12m with all the complicated tweak bar set-up, but I've seen a lot of pics in the past where 12m racers eliminate all that stuff and just go to a simple t-bar. Thanks!
