Default Amp conversions

Ok does anyone know how to convert a 10Amp Discharge to a 30 Amp Discharge to find out Acerage voltage?

I have just been deducting .36 off the average voltage (6 cell pack) to get a 30 amps reading......Any help?

I have seen a chart somewhere, but it doesn't really work properly.

The trouble is, different cells actually react differently to teh different loads, depending on their internal resistance.

Default Hmmm

I do not think it is a linear function. Something like if it takes you 20 secs to run up 2 flights of stairs, it is unlikely you can run up 20 flights of stairs in 200 secs.

or
If it takes 3 carpenters 8 hours to frame a house how long will it take 300 carpenters, the answer is probably not 4.8 minutes.

If you want to see what packs are better simply discharge them and note the voltage @ 30 sec's, 1 min, 2 min, 3 min and 4 min...unless your 8 minute road racing ( however long your race's are just note the voltage in 1 minute increment's till you get to that point )...then just compare your [email protected] only 10 amp's you may want to double the time's above.

If you're trying to compare numbers pack to pack, you need to use the same apparatus.

Even if there was a forumla to convert voltages between 10A and 30A discharges (which I don't believe there is) you would still have different tolerances from the readings on the different equipment used.

You cannot cycle your packs at 10A do a conversion and compare the numbers to the pack's 30A labels.

The method described earlier is your best option (using the equipment youhave available to you) to determine which are your best packs
