steering blocks, and side links. at our track we have a mix of xray, crc, vbc, yokomo, ae....those seem to be common items that break.

the serpent style pivot mounted on the top plate. imo, appears there could be a part or two give in a bad wreck, but not sure as i have no experience on that pivot style, if i was ordering i may may go with spares in that area since system is unique, and you would not be able to fit pivot systems. use or borrow parts from racers cars with the more common main plate mounted pivot system

Hmm, the stock front bulkheads are plastic. That's weird.

Manual says made in Italy on every page but half the parts on the car are either not made in Italy or are like laser scan clones of Serpent and Associated. Sigh.

"In 2009, the Italian law (Law 135, September 25th, 2009 - Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of Italy) stated that only products totally made in Italy (planning, manufacturing and packaging) are allowed to use the labels Made in Italy, 100% Made in Italy, 100% Italia, tutto italiano in every language, with or without the flag of Italy. Each abuse is punished by the Italian law."

Still a beautiful car however. Also, spare parts would be easier to find. LOL, my 10R5 front end could come in handy. Serpent side links, centre pivot, body posts.

Weird plastic front bulkhead does support the cloned theory though - like they sent an Associated 12R5 front end off to be cloned in Asia and didn't specify the desired material. So strange.

the previous teamsaxo GT-300 1/12 car used a all plastic frontend
Front Suspension plastic component_GT-500W Accessoires_Car Kit_TEAMSAXO
aluminum was a option part (newest GT-300 V2 included)
Front bulkhead_GT-500W Accessoires_Car Kit_TEAMSAXO

looking at the manual, parts, clip spacers, and molding, to me, it appears they used the above front end, which also i guess is near same as 12R5

maybe capricorn did this to get into a price range or to offer it as a option part?

i saw a schumacher eclipse somewhere on here with a custom chassis using a yokomo yrx12 front end, this RSD RR12X 1/12th Scale Pan Car Conversion Kit for XRAY X12 is for also using a different front end, not sure 12R5/Xenon front will fit it. speaking of that. i have seen CRC cars with that front end too, it's just a matter of getting a custom main plate made

Built the P12 over the past few days. Here are some pictures to share considering there's very few non manufacturer's pictures.

The overall parts quality is on pare with other top manufacturers. Only issue is they forgot to countersunk one of the holes on my carbon lower pod plate. Lucky I odered the aluminum ones as I've never planned to run the carbon ones.

Capricorn suggest me to countersunk the hole myself.

Love the super big center shock.

Will change the front end to Xenon. The Capricorn arms are softer. Ordered the Xenon front end assembly with mini damper tubes, but it won't work. The front bulk heads of the P12 are closer than those of the Associated pan cars. The dampers will interfere with each other.

The rear diff shaft is 7075 aluminum (according to Capricorn), not steel and not graphite. It's really light.

The front upper turnbuckles are Ti, according to Capricorn.

I hope they offer the front upper arm mount in aluminum.

The holes on the chassis center the Ko and Xpert servos perfectly, which is nice. Not sure about other brands.

Kimbrough servo saver is included, nice!

Wish they include more front ride height spacers.

The rear pod is very well made. Well machined and finished. The motor plate is thick, which give's lots of confidence if you got hit or hit something.

All in all, I love this kit. It's beautiful and has all the features I want.

Not hard to do. I make the bulkheads so I can run xenon arms on the old ae bolt pattern. Would not take much to make a set that fits the X-ray bolt pattern. Only issue is how many do you need.
