With what you want to do you are better off going brushless. Slow speed just get a low kv brushless (something around 3000kv to 3500kv) motor and bigger pinion for more top end speed if the 10t stock pinion is too slow. With stock plastic driveshafts the finned 2030 tacon brushless motors would be a good choice they come in a wide variety of kvs and will not be hard on the diffs or driveshafts. Bigger tires go with a 2040 brushless motor. If you have not already you better also get upgraded driveshafts (larger motor bigger tires equals more strain on drivetrain components).

Yes it would. I have the finned Tacon 2040 4850kv in a Dromida monster truck I would recommend it. I have a fan to help keep it cool. I run it on 2s offroad and 3s onroad and its a blast. You need to get some 2.5mm bolts or screws to mount the brushless motors.

I forgot you said you wanted the same speed as brushed then I would go with something like this
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tacon-2040-...8AAOSw32lYwzBq

or this and get a bigger pinion if its too slow
http://www.hobbypartz.com/96m265-2040-2900kv-20t.html

if you do not mind a little more speed than brushed
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tacon-2040-...AAAOSw4A5YwzB5

Cheap 2s lipo only esc (not waterproof)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/25A-Waterpr...UAAOSwNRdX4I~x

I use on 2s this 18a esc (not waterproof) with a tacon 2040 in a rc18mt (I got mine cheaper though refurb from Ibuyrc on ebay)

You can google these and probably find them cheaper.

I have tested quite a few mini motors and can give a list and opinion on all of them. When I go brushless I am looking for more speed than brushed though. I know you said you want brushed speed and I can not give an opinion on what is exactly the same as I change my minis to brushless when I get them. I have a teton (mine was roller I prefer to buy them that way) with a dromida 5300kv motor (way faster than brushed). I can give recommendations on lipo packs for the teton too.
