It's not a bad strategy. If you have a Team C car at a track and break a plastic part you don't have, most times an xray part will get you going. Most onroad tracks carry xray, so that helps.

Team C parts and cars are generally much less expensive too.

Hope that answers your question
Hello Nick, I am interested in getting the TC10 2018. Can you confirm most of the plastic / composite parts are compatible with the Xray T4 2018? I am mostly interested in the gear differentials, front & rear suspension arms, C hubs, uprights, front & rear universals. If they are compatible then I will definitely get one as I have a bunch of Xray parts...Thanks!

This also applies for many other brand on the market.

I have two of the TC10 2015 and love them and they are very competitive cars running against any other brands at my local track.

Look at all the TC cars except the awesomatix, serpent and Mugen. They all look the same and share designs that have worked for years.

I don’t run for Team C but I think a lower priced TC is needed in the US market.
Nope - I asked because I own 2 X Rays - and I recognized the parts - the suspension arms, the bumper parts, the body posts.
And per the reply..... I was correct.

As I said earlier, most of the plastics interchange between this and the XRay. Suspension especially. I believe the Diff's are very similar as well, though I haven't looked at the 2 side by side.

We're going to release the TC10 2018 for sale on January 1st.

As a side note, we are looking for Sponsored drivers as well. If you're interested in running with the team, throw me a PM, and I'll get you in touch with the Regional Manager in your area

I'm pleased to announce the pending release of the TC10 2018! Orders are being taken now for release starting January 2nd 2018.

With that, I'm excited to announce the very first Team Edition version of the TC10 ever released! The Team Edition includes the top durability, performance, and tuning options available.

Adding to the already greatly improved overall handling of the venerable TC10 2015, the TC10 2018 Team Edition includes:

Aluminum Front Spool (Replacing the composite spool for durability)
DCJ Axles (Replacing CVD's for ultra smooth operation)
Carbon Bumper Support (Replaces plastic)
2.3 through 2.7 springs included
Full sway bar kit (All options included)

That's nearly $180 worth of options included in the kit!

In the end, we wanted to put together the very best kit possible to give YOU the best chance at winning. Right out of the box.

The TC10 2018 Team Edition kit MSRP's for $799. Please check http://www.teamcusa.us for ordering information and discounts!

You get that off simply by becoming a customer. As soon as you sign in, the coupon will apply.
