Default Schumacher MI1v2 Gear ratio help

Hi
Just playing around with a Schumacher MI1v2 for my wet car on tarmac. Can any one throw me a good starting point for gear ratio. I am running 17.5 blinky.
Either FDR or MM per rev? Any help would be great thanks :-)

I always start with an FDR of 4.00 and adjust up or down depending on track size. Sounds like you'll be outdoors and the track will likely have a nice long straight, so perhaps something around 3.80 or lower might work. Always check temps and if too high then gear down slightly and try again after everything cools off.
