So true, but it's not "local tricks" or "secret sauces".........those guys can drive. Period.

Watching the races online i still love the tamiya usa track. Lends itself well to the Reedy format. From what I've seen it's produced some good close racing and awesome passes.

Beautiful weather and an awesome track combined for some GREAT racing on Saturday!! I was down to watch round 3 and the racing was really good. The track is in perfect condition and the Sweep tires really were allowing the cars to perform at their best!! Great driving and clean racing--the best of the best are very fun to watch!! A great finish to a very great venue!!

Just wondering.....with the guys making so many race runs, how many sets of tires are they using? Is there a limit, or are the top guys fitting new tires for each and every run?

Invite guys get 6 sets of tires and they have to use them in a certain order. uneven race new set and even race used from previous race.
Open guys get 3sets of race tires.

Actually open class was able to buy 4 sets of race tires and all the practice tires you wanted. They were only $30 a set! So that was pretty good!
Sweep tires were very consistent!
Just my 2$

Sweep tires were excellent at the event.
Happy to have kinked it on my last run of the circuit. Thanks to everyone for organizing. Cannot wait to see what unfolds for 2019...

In the A mains I ran used A1, New A2 when hot and Used A3 (because I only had 1 new set for the mains). But my car was awesome on new or used tires. It didnt seem to affect it much.

You got an additional set for the A main or had you one saved for it?

Thanks

You don't get a new set for A. I personally saved two new sets for the mains. My qualifying wasn't good though.. It is a tradeoff

You got 4 sets for racing. You could use them however you wanted. No additional sets for the Mains.

Going to the Reedy at the Tamiya USA track was a bucket list race.
Sadly I won't ever get the chance now
