I wonder what's the body... Looks like the Speed Passion LM-A, but the wheelbase would be slightly wrong?

Rumour has it from a few sources, the guys that own VBC have a very large interest in Speed passion.

It does appear to be the same Audi body from the Speed Passion LM-1. The front suspension is different on the Lightning10 LM to make it have the same wheelbase (275-280mm) of the LM-1.

Really? As I recall, that would make it too long for the BRCA GT10 class (which is the same as WGT, except for more bodies allowed, including some of that style, with split wings)... And possibly WGT too?

Couldn't take it anymore and ordered mine today. Now I have to sit impatiently and wait for it to arrive.

In Australia we run Rubber not foams so I have ordered a F1 rear Axle assembly to slot in, kit arrived loved the fact that it came with Body & Foams BSR by the looks great quality. Will not be assembling till after I get back from Europe in September.

Anyone received the kits? What's the wheelbase like? Similar to "regular" 200mm pan cars (in the 250mm to 263mm range), or similar to the Speedpassion LM-1 (275mm to 280mm)?

Also, for people in the UK and Europe, it's available here for €249.90 (about £175), and should be no duty to the UK (and reasonable shipping):

I found my answer in the manual... It can be set up for 269mm or 275mm.

Looks like the only different part is the front suspension front plate, maybe fitting the one from the Lightning10 would bring the wheelbase within the rules for ROAR WGT and BRCA GT10?

But then the body wouldn't fit well, and it brings back the cost almost to the same level as other WGT/GT10 cars (still get a free set of BSR tires, though!)...

Finally got one built. This thing is the deal of the century. Lots of aluminum and carbon axle goodness!

Those aren't the actual servo mount locations. I just put them there to display this roller. The servo would be off to the side and the steering links further forward.
