I'm lucky to have Prolevel as my home track and it's a great place to race on a weekly basis.

That being said, this was my first Hudy race and Drew REALLY turns things up a notch for this event. While the talent/competition rivals a typical national level race, the hospitality and atmosphere is a unique and deluxe experience.

I was glad to see some faces from the past and meet some new folks as well. Thanks to Prolevel, the Prolevel family and Prolevel track crew!

Thanks to Drew, his family and the Prolevel locals for hosting another great event. Those who have the opportunity to make the event next year certainly shouldn't miss out, especially with the improvements Drew has in mind for subsequent races. Can't wait!

The cars were ballistic and fun to watch for sure. I wish there was a 17.5 class for the foam class. I’m an old school foam TC guy at heart so I welcome the class back. For me rubber is an asphalt tire.

I know I’m going to try them since Prolevel is my home track.

Rubber tire wheels crack just as easily as the foam did back in the day.

Anyway as a fun race and great to see some old friends.

The whole Prolevel family did a great job running the races and keeping everything running and clean.

Traction was super high. Johnee and I trued ours down to 56.5 and got a few runs out of them. Still plenty of foam on the tire. We glued the seam as well but not the entire sidewall. If you dont run enough rear camber, you will chunk the foam and if you do some tumbling, you have a chance at chunking.

List of things I highly recommend but are not needed as Drew ran plenty fast with out of package tires
1. Glue seam
2. Round the outer edge
3. True down to 58mm
4. Run at least -3.5 rear camber

Foam was super fun once I finally went through the car and set it up instead of just driving it but I still prefer rubber for ease of maintenance. 17.5 would def get a lot of use out of the tires and be more controllable for newer guys.

Great race for sure. Drew, his family, and the local ProLevel crew did an outstanding job. This is a MUST attend race for all.

Foam sedan was cool and I would love to see it make a come back.
