Durangoes are 4WD buggies hand built one at a time by Gerd Strenge in Germany. They are not for sale. Gerd has a small teasm of drivers who compete with the few cars that exist mainly in Europe where there are many tracks for which the car is well suited. Chief among them are Peter Pinisch and Jorn Neumann.

It's a shaft drive car using AE diffs.

Gerd is a great guy who wants to explore new concepts in R/C racing but does not want the headaches of manufacturing cars and dealing with the public. His car is a formidable competitor which, like all others, has its strong points and it's weaknesses. On certain tracks it's very fast indeed.
