not bad. here is a review someone did on the engine:
I've had this engine for about a month and it's treated me right, Follow the supplied instructions for engine run-in from RB and you won't go wrong. My friend help me tune this engine and kept the tempreture around the 230-250 degree range!! I ran about a gallon of fuel thru it all ready and I can keep up with the other racer's running Novarossi and Sirio Engines! Awesome Engine. Very easy to tune right out of the Box. Only one thing Don't lean this engine too much it will give you Big problems...

i forgot this engine. it's 150, but it's a very good engine for the new racer. you get full 8 ports, race design, and cheap price. a guy at my track runs it and it keeps up with an RB WS 7II, the meanest RB out there. check it out. plus, if you order soon, i think you can save $25 on it!

don't let anyone ever tell you that a $150 motor is crap i have smoked many a $300+ engine with my $150. dollar engine. go with what brand you like but you don't have to spend $300 on an engine to be competitive. most people who race would be a lot faster if they ran $150 engines instead of $300 engines. RB seems to make good engines. if you race on a large track you need 5 ports or more. i would suggest the ofna hyper .21 8port. you can find them for $119. and it will have plenty on top. or if you race on a small track a 3port will be just fine any mentioned here or a o.s. rg can find for $109.

i personally have the hyper 8 port race tower hobbies has them for 149.99 so if they are still having a sale all orders over 150 recieve 25 off. so if you buy that engine and a glow plug you will get a smokin deal. everyone on the ofna site says though that the purple head hyper 8 port (non race) has a little more bottom end and tower has them for 119.99. remember to run a light clutch shoe and heavy spring with these engines or you will suffer acceleration. they are also very sensitive to tune so make sure you make minor adjustments. but if you blow it up you can send it in to ofna and they will put a new piston and sleeve in it for $65 can't beat that.

If you are going to go that route you might look at the OS RG21. 109.00 most anywhere.

That is the engine I am going to get next is the OS RG .21 . I figure for starting out, if I do something wrong I rather toast a $100 engine than a $300 one.

The OS RG will last longer than the Ofna ,and it has a very smooth powerband ,and trust me fella's ,this engine is a screamer , just put the correct pipe on it and it's a pretty tough combo to beat ! The Ofnas carbs are touchy !! and it is easy to burn'em out ! The OS likes to run around 250 - 265 ,don't let it go higher , this is total race tune ,it will last even longer at 220-235 . The RG modified is very good too.

I heard an RD logics pipe works really well on this engine, but I can't remember which it is.
