so i am looking into buying a LX Comp.

is there anything wrong with this buggy for a entry (into 1/8th) basher?

the only real problem i see is the grease filled diffs, the rest seems really good

i just want some feed back on if this is a good buggy and if not whats bad about it

I would say as a basher, the vehicle is in its element.

I would however look into upgrading its electronics. the stock servos won't do a good job, especially in the steering department.

Depending on your budget and if you plan to race later on, you may want to look into a different vehicle based on what I have read and heard. But as a basher, I have heard of no complaints.

I think on ofna's site that it does have a breakdown of what hopups are for what vehicle? if not ofna should be able to provide you with this info. I think that the PCR stuff is probably for the Hyper 7 but I am probably wrong.

sorry I couldn't be of more help.

that is correct - looking at these options there is nothing really worth getting except the beefed up cva driveshafts and the front and rear pivot ball kit. All that aluminum will bend in a wreck, whereas plastic will flex before it breaks. Alot cheaper to replace than aluminum.

The 2 speed get ups are retarted, you will spend more time dialing that in than what its worth - the more simpler you keep things the better.

there are tons of threads on this one - you don't need it!

Spend the extra $100 on parts and gas, or better servos

thedudeaturdoor-It's kinda pointless to buy a cheaper car and then spend all the extra money on Paul Coleman Upgrades.
If your going to do that then simply buy a better car.
It's usually CHEAPER to buy a car already hopped up than it is to buy a cheap car and buy things piece by piece.
Downfalls of this car-
Not really suited for racing over entry level. You get what you pay for plain and simple.
