Default Kyosho Clutch questions

I have a kyosho inferno 7.5 RTR and I won this 3 shoe clutch on ebay yesterday: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

it's hard to see whats included but I know my car has a funky stock clutch setup. Ive put a regular 2 5x10 bearing clutch bell on my car but its a bit taller so i had to omit using any washers behind it and there is virtually no clearance between the bell and the flywheel. Im hoping the new clutch will resolve these issues but will I need anything extra to get it to work?? I dont see a different flywheel nut.. its hard to see whats in the bags. Thanks for any info..

What you will need to do is make sure your engine has a "pilot" or SG crankshaft ,if it doesn't then you will need a special clutch nut/pilot ,you may be able to use the one that is on the engine at present , I am not as familiar with the new RTR buggy ,do you still have the original engine on it ?
I just looked at the parts breakdown ,and you will need to use the original nut over again , this shouldn't cause too much of an issue ,just pay attention to the manual that came with your car or if you don't have one look here

That should help

I'll say you need to get flywheel with three pin on it.

rtr has 2 pin only, if I'm not mistaken

I have the stock GX21 motor in it currently. Krisnata I have the whole clutch/flywheel kit coming as you can see from the auction photos. Whats the diff between a pilotshaft motor and my motor?? Have any pics to show the diff??

Tusky , it is easy to tell the difference. When you remove the clutch nut you will see that your engine has only threads ,and the pilot is part of the nut. On a SG crank the pilot is part of the crank .Very simple

Look at these two manuals, one for the 7.5 RTR (your buggy) and the other is for a 777. Both show you how to install a clutch. Pick the one appropriate to your engine. Hint: it will be for a non-SG shaft engine.

Stock GX21 with a clutch nut (non-SG) http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/manuals/31275EU.pdf
