I'd start with 16T for medium and 17T for big tracks.

Default Manual in PDF for THEeCar Grey Ed.

Hello!

Ready for building my new e-car :-D. I cannot find the pdf version of the manual under GREY Edition eCar ? JQRacing nor Manuals & Other Downloads ? JQRacing

Is it available anywhere else?

Thanks a lot!

Hello Daniel,

What I would do if I were looking for a pdf style manual for the Grey Edition, is use the Black Edition pdf manual for the front and rear clips, since that's what they are.
Then, I'd use the E-car pdf manual on the rest.
JQ told me to use the same setup as you would on the Black Edition, except instead of using the stock grey springs, use HB Yellow front and rear.
The BE is so good, I can't wait for my GE to show up, which should be a couple more days
Hope that helps!

I know this isn’t a FS thread but seeing as these kits are on backorder i figured I’d throw this out there. Looking to lighten my arsenal, i have a brand new grey edition ARTR, never ran. HW electronics, savox servo and protek LiHv pack. PM me if interested.

Thanks a lot Matt for your answer.
BTW, the HB yellow ones are these ones:
HB Racing 83mm Big Bore Shock Spring (Yellow) (2) (65.7gF)
&
HB Racing 68mm Big Bore Shock Spring (Yellow) (2) (73.8gF)
?
Thanks again!

Yes, those are the ones. I also ordered the HB Gold springs for the front and rear. They are one step harder than the HB Yellow.

HBS109816 - GOLD (83mm/70.3gF/2pcs)

Default Shock setup for bumpy , med-low grip track

Hi everyone!

Which shock setup would you recommend me for a bumpy track with medium to low grip, that degrades and temp around 15 celcius degree?

I've checked the BE setup guide and the setup (BLACK Edition News Wk. 6 ? T4T Win & Bumpy Track Setup ? JQRacing) and Matt feedback and I would understand that it could be something like:

F / R

7x1.25 / 7x1.35

400 / 350

HB Yelow / HB Yelow

1) What do you think?

2) 1.4 x 5 discarded.Right?

3) Are the 7x1.25 / 7x1.35 included in the kit?

Thanks a lot!

Daniel

Hello Daniel,

The T4T setup looks to be a great place to start for your track conditions.

I believe the kit comes with 7x1.2 front and 7x1.4 rear pistons.
You will need to purchase another set of 7x1.2 or 7x1.3 pistons and drill them to size for the rear. You can use the stock fronts of course, just drill them to size.

I use this drill kit:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/gmk-sup...-gmk0108/p7599

As far as the springs go, I would try both the Yellow HB ones, and the stock grey springs and see which one you like better for the bumpy conditions.

I hope this helps

Has anyone come from a Tekno to the JQ, If so, what differences did you notice? Thanks
