Is this a b6d?
I had an online buy transaction go awry..so I'm just trying to figure out if this is even a b6d? Transmission looks like it's laying down to me, is that right? Anything else you notice? I'm totally new to buggy anything.

That's not a "d". A stock B6d has a stand up transmission and flat front a-arms. If this has a ball diff, the it may have been a d-car that was converted with a lay-down transmission, which is probably the most popular configuration to run on indoor dirt.
It's missing some stuff- rear ball studs & dogbones that I can see.

looks like a B6 to me
