Default First electric, is it worth $100?

Feel like getting an electric buggy to just mess around with. Guy has this local for $100, all it needs is a battery and radio. Let me know what you think guys thanks.

Yup, for 100 bucks and as a first buggy why not. Newer gear isn't going to make a newer driver more competitive. Track time is, so buying an older buggy and spending the money on batteries and track time will do much more for improved lap times than the newest ride will.

That's just me though.

As long as AE still makes parts for it... Why not. The 44.3 is a great car up to a month ago when the new one came out and still a competitive car. So, for a $100 id jump on that grenade. lol

+1 for driving time. For me, it's hard to even have time to get to the track. So I start off real slow for the first run just getting used to the track layout and getting a driving rhythm down. But every time I crash or roll, I have to find that rhythm again. I've had the pleasure of watching Cavalieri and others at OCRC the last couple of weeks, and even they get their rhythm down for the first laps before getting right into their skills.
It is very true that all the newest and best equipment does nothing if you can't drive it. Being on the track, taking your time, and paying attention to your throttle and wheel control, and how your vehicle is reacting is imperative.

the thing is its not a B44.3. I hope the seller did not tell you it was..

And for that reason i wouldn't buy it. IT looks like a B44 with its nihm cut outs..

Just me the 100$ should go to something thats newer. But thats just me.
