Not real popular in my area but I'm getting the Newer PR Racing ST1 4x4 Type-R...should be available in a few weeks. but hopefully taking it out to play with while at the races will get other people interested in the class once seeing one go around.

well guys, I'm hoping on Xmas I can share some news with you guys regarding the PR Racing's st1 4x4 type R....we've been keeping quite as we've decided to make several big changes to bring the platform to its highest potential! If you want to learn more about it in the coming weeks please join the "PR racing USA news" group or the "PR racing north American driver group" on facebook..

ugh I can't wait to show you guys! seriously a class game changer and what's included in the box makes it such a deal compared to the other brand...I can promise you this it's absolutely nothing like our original st1 4x4 that released in the sates in 2015! And a true affordable luxury kit!.......stay tuned!

I can't wait. Hopefully some body refinements and dish wheels, or ability to use other ST wheels with same offset?

Might be little sooner than xmas, I can say the body looks mean! not like our 2wd stadium that 90% of people didn't like lol..but bare with us, it's so close....I'm sure most on here will see it first on social media but I will for sure post it here as well just incase someone misses it. But we just wanted to make sure everything was just right from the body to what's in the box and all that good stuff. I think and I hope once you guys see it you'll understand why we held off longer than we originally anticipated. And really hope you guys like it, even if not a PR fan, really think 90% of drivers will still think it's bad ass! no mater the name on the box

Some guys on the Arrma forums are trying to make a 4x4 truggy based off of the BLX 3S platform.

that's cool. Are they adding a rear wing to these trucks? What type of wheels and tires are they using, SCT? Body? I wonder if a Hobao 10TT body would fit? I think I should by myself a granite and find out?

just curious but wouldn't you want a truggy that's made for racing and have all the adjustments one looks for in a competition kit? or you wanting more of a basher and new look for your arrma....nothing bad, just curious

Probably a Basher with a new look. I had transformed my Stampede 4 x 4 into a shapeshifter truggy and it was an absolute blast to drive.

The new Typhon 3s BLX has a wing and longer a arms. The wing and mount aren't available yet though. The plan is to use the Granite chassis and axles with duratrax 12mm hex adapters and 2.8 st tires as we don't think 2.2s will fit. They want to use it for bashing not racing though. The bashers want 4wd stadium trucks/truggies just as much as the racers do.

To add to this back in June Tower Hobbies accidentally listed a bunch of parts for a 1/10 Arrma Kraton and Outcast 4s then pulled them down a few hours later, they had cv driveshafts, wing, wing mount, wheels, tires, different motor mount and a few other odds and ends. https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/n...st-blx4s.7076/

What do you mean are trying? Slap on some SCT wheels, and you’re good to go!

BTW, if you want to run SC wheels on a granite, I’d try Slash 2WD front offset. I ran Slash 4x4’s and they were a little narrow handling wise and some of the wheels will rub (depends on the brand/style).
