The RTR diff sucks and the new one is actually really good. Seriously, don't even think about racing with the RTR diff... tried it, several of us did, and we ditched them. I was using the Serpent SRX-2 diff until the new TLR gear diff came out.

I watched your build video on face book(bag A,B, and C need to finish last video.) I really enjoy your build videos by the way thanks for doing them. You said that most of the guys like running the 3mm trail front axles. What is the handling differences between the 4mm and the 3mm trail? I run on small medium to high bight indoor clay track and I was wondering which setting would be better for these conditions. Thanks

Since the release of the new front spindles I have really liked 2mm trail on my 22 3.0, 22 3.0LD, and 22SCT 3.0.

The biggest difference between 4mm and 3mm trail is the amount of corner entry steering. 3mm trail should be slightly more aggressive with 2mm being the most aggressive. If you are running the spindles for the first time with this adjustment I would start with 4mm and tune from there.

My next question for discussion is Shocks in front of the rear arms vs Shocks in the back of the arms. I am trying the shocks in front of the arms for the first time on Saturday. Does it come down to lower grip conditions you want the shocks in the rear of the arms and for higher grip you want them in front. (read that on the xray site) I know your moving the weight forward but what does it change in corning going from rear to front.

With all the extra coming in the kit (gearboxes, hubs etc) what's the chance of still getting two sets of wheels 😆?
Currently running yellow, but have heard that white are much faster so hoping there might be some white ones in the kit!

Boooo.
At least we have the heads up! And it's not like we don't still have to buy half a dozen more sets of wheels anyway. And it's not like I don't already have a dozen sets from running my two 3.0 rigs! ;-)
But hey, for including everything to run on all surfaces, two transmissions, etc... if throwing out a pair of yellow wheels is the price, I'll buy it!
