Frank,

Are the 4.0 front & rears arms the same as the 3.0 (except for the hole on the front of the rears?) Is the 4.0 front shock tower the same as the 3.0?
Thanks

Yes, you can run the 4.0 arms (stiffezel) on the 3.0.

Yes, front shock tower has not been changed.

Seems like a glaring omission that can't be THAT hard to manufacture, but maybe I'm wrong...
Is TLR43011 considered a slim wheel? I'm not sure what a 61mm wheel is used for?

That one got me for awhile too. The 2.4inch/60mm/61mm/Evo wheels have more to do with the diameter of the wheel (compared to standard 2.2" diameter wheels) which requires different inserts and tires. Supposed to be lighter weight and more responsive steering since thinner sidewalls (overall diameter is the same). In full size world, it's like a Plus+1, larger wheel with lower aspect ratio or profile, therefore same overall diameter which doesn't make your speedometer read way off. I think slimmer wheel has to do with overall width of the tire/wheel (again, full size world example would be 245mm versus 265mm at beginning of tire size). For visual, find picture of competitor cars from release back in June 2016 and compare front wheels between dirt and non-dirt version.

Here's a nice explanation on JConcepts site: http://www.jconcepts.net/garage/proj...vs-60mm-wheels Tire beads and mounting is different as well.

It's just a different mounting style, but no it isn't a "slim" wheel like for carpet.

Yes, front and rear sets will be coming when the 22 4.0's do, or shortly after.

I would say the 4.0 is a very competitive buggy with Dakotah winning mod buggy this weekend with a tough field of very talented drivers present! Lay down on a med bite track is a winner!

Default Carpet Question...

I cannot find any real information about the Aluminum Diff (TLR332067). Is this a good upgrade for a mod (6.5 motor) carpet TLR 22 or is this piece for the TLR 22SR?

Thank you,
Glenn
