i have heard rumors about a new electric losi truck (stadium). i just wanted to know if anybody else has heard anything.

Haven't heard anything about that but have heard that there's a really nice 1/8 scale buggy in the works.

What have you heard about the new 1/8th scale.

As for electric stuff. The team is always working to imporve the car. A lot of the team guys have been testing a lot of new parts and idea's. I have not heard any rumors on a whole new car in the works being tested but I am sure they are working on idea's. Time frame ????????

Kind of related, X-Factory is supposed to be unveiling their new 2WD "X-6" buggy this weekend at the Midwest Champs in Columbus, Ohio with Greg Hodapp driving. Rumor has it's a mid engine design.

I'll try to click some pics and post if anyone is interested.

I highly doubt Losi will release a new truck in the next few months. The MF2 was released at the beginning of last season. Maybe at the end of the 2006 season or beginning of 2007.

The car will not be raced at the race because its not finished. They didnt have enough time to get everything worked out yet check 4wdrc.com they have all the info

The only really interseting thing i have heard about the new 1/8 scale is that it is suposed to have a 3-4 mm Woven graphite chassis. now i'm not 100% sure on that but one of the guys i work with at a hobby shop talked to a guy that works in the molding shop they were at so i'm not sure if its humor or truth but it give you something to think about.

I tried to order some upgrade parts from Trinity yesterday, and they said they have discontinued the MF2 parts because Losi is going to release a new truck in May/June. Trinity is in the process of producing upgrades for it.

I would think they would go to a more genric title like the XXX-S and XXX-4 did with the Griphite plus edition.

Have any losi guys won anything big in truck lately. AE has been cleaning up lately. The first racer truck was a g+ kit. If they have a new kit it will be a plastic kit first and then a pro kit to follow more then likely. (history) Then again in todays market they may make the pro kit first followed by and RTR?

Losi just came out with lightened outdrives for the electric cars. I know they are working on a new car but not sure when they will release anything.

one of my fellow team drivers called trinity about some caster blocks, and he ended up talking to "the drake" about a new truck coming out around april. so maybe its true. i love the mf2 but maybe there will be something better. something that can beat that tebo guy with that t4, man he is smoking everybody.
