What everyone hasnt realized is that the TEN line of trucks from Losi ALL USE MOD 1 gearing. As you know, Mod 1 gears are LOUD and make noise so it is NORMAL to have a slight clicking noise. I know all about this, as my brother and myself have 7 SCTE's between us.

Don't think that's what he meant. I have grinded while rolling before and it had nothing to do with mod 1 gears lol.

1 more question, the truck goes from forward STRAIGHT into reverse, rather than braking then making you go back to neutral in order to get reverse. It's actually doing the opposite, it seems the brake is when you pull on the trigger, but so is forward.

No idea how to fix that, any help? total noob here
What motor and esc?

I'm just gonna say that all of my mod1 cars do not click when in motion unless the Gear mesh was off somehow. Maybe it's different with losi spurs but I've gone through mugen and tekno kits without a clicking noise. They're louder than a 48p spur sure but that's it.

Your might just need to calibrate the ESC by setting the brake and throttle endpoints. This info should be in the manual if it came as an RTR.

Yea, the straight into reverse thing sounds like you need to set the ESC braking, drag brake, neutral position etc. Get to know the manual well. When I got my Ten-MT, which also has the fuze 4s esc and 3800kv motor my braking was set very low. Like 10%, which was horrible. I would have to hit reverse 3-4 times before it would actually start going backwards.

As for your original problem, can you take a high quality video of the noise?
