Had to get out of the Hobby for a bit.My 64d was very dialed and very stout.Hardly many breaks or failures.I would clean it ,put it away ,pull it out and Run.Very Excited to see a New Car hope
a D version still exists.

I am looking to do the rear camber link mod to move them in front of the tower on my B64D and have a few questions to clarify after reading through the many posts throughout this thread:

I assume I don't have to run the 2mm shorter arms with this if it's not needed? If not where should i run my hub spacers?

I have seen multiple spacer lengths on top and bottom of shocks so are the different lengths being used as a tuning option? Of so what should i start with on top/bottom?

I saw somewhere it's better to use the optional aluminum rear hubs for this mod? Is it still a benefit if I'm using the stock hubs?

I did the setup with the stock rear arms and stock hubs. It works fine.

The spacing on the top and bottom of the shock away from the shock tower is to make room for the camber link and to get your shock movement lined up with your arm movement. If you have extra anti-squat (the front of your rear arms is higher than the rear) you will want less spacers on top. Basically the angle the arms go up and down should be the same angle as the shock, or it can bind a little. If you are using the stock arms, then the shock does not need to be spaced as far forward. Also I think the pro setups they are also just trying to shift more weight forward so they have even longer stand offs.

A couple washers from my RCscrewz kit on top and a single 1mm spacer on bottom was correct for my pill settings. The washers are close to 1mm so about 2mm on top. I am using the stock shock mounting hardware so I could not space it out any further really. Otherwise you need to get longer bolts or 3rd party stand offs.

Edit - correction it is 3 washers on top

Default Aluminum Rear Hubs

I am looking to upgrade to aluminum rear hubs and even though both the AE and Schelle hubs are out of stock everywhere it seems, I am looking for opinions in which to grab once they come back in stock or I find a used set somewhere in the meantime

Amain has the AE and exotek alu hubs if you can't find them locally.
