What should I be looking to do to help correct this? 37.5wt yellow front shocks, 5k front diff. 30wt white rear shocks 3k rear diff. Car was wanting to go left/right swaying back and forth. 20mm ride height.
first thing i'd do is put red springs up front. my buggy was doing a lot of what you're describing when i had white springs on the back. red springs made a huge difference. i also have 32.5 in the rear shocks and 10/200/7 for diffs and it feels great.

I can't even imagine how expensive a b64 set of pucks would be. It's around $75 for one set of outdrives and the dog bones. The b64 obviously has three! Are we looking at $225 plus tax to puck the b64?

I can see the center pucks being a nice option... but the front ones look like they would be destroyed in a front arm crash Also a set of rear Schelle 65mm bones would be nice to add as well vice the puck drives.. who knows we should know more soon but that price tag is going to cost a grip of cash$$$$$

Too many a**holes run mod. Fast guys that get mad at the guys that are not as fast as them, other guys that think they are fast enough to run with the fast guys and get mad when they realize they are not one of the fast guys. They are the ones that usually storm off the drivers stand or smash their cars into a wall. Then there are the back markers that are pressured into running mod because "its the best class because all the fast guys race that class" or "spec classes are for girls"

No thanks.

I started a 13.5 wheeler class at my track because i was tired of racing with those types. I'd rather run 13.5 wheeler and 17.5 all day.

13.5 Wheeler...Yawn...another class for people who think they can buy a win.

At least MIP will have another cash cow for lightweight drivetrain parts.

An approachable, slower and easier to drive class 17.5 has not been in a long
time and 13.5 wheeler is about to join them.

Funny its never the Mod guys complaining.

Utter horse s**t. Modified proliferated primarily because stock used to be a wallet race. That's been over since tracks agreed to ban ESC timing. We're left with appropriately fast racing at a very low cost and entry threshold.

Mod guys complain plenty. The jumps aren't big enough, tires are expensive, and not enough people want to race with them.

Thats all they do is complain. They even complain about guys running spec classes. They are usually the ones complaining about the "motor of the month".

Mod guys complain about the stock classes more that the stock class guys do.

Dumb question -- how do you install the center driveshafts into the pinion gear? The hooked part is in the way.

Do you just force them through the hooked part of the loop retainer?
Or do you put the shaft in first and then the loop retainer?
Something else I'm not getting?

Default 1st runs

Headed to OCRC today with the 64,very impressed with the car box stock set up 5.5 mod motor.I have had a22/4 and a hb413.
This car suits MY DRIVING STYLE to a T. I just loved it you can push it hard and get the rear to drift thru the turns with ease, almost steering it from the rear. For me the 22/4 was to nimbel the 413 too robust this sits in the middle.Again fits My style well.A few good bashups as it was very crowded with all sorts of mayhem .I had no broken parts.200 n center is next and play with shocks a bit.I was very impressed!
Cheers

install them at an angle, putting the first pin into the slot with the hooked park, then the other pin. you should not need to put the clip on after. if you already have the car together, you may need to remove the rear brace to get enough of an angle to install as described above and in the front, you'd have to remove the top plate that connects the steering assembly to the center diff stands.

Are you presenting an alternate fact or something? So you are saying 17.5 class is fast and low cost and easily attainable? Like in fair competition?

Not an alternative fact. 17.5 & 13.5 are cheap to race and plenty fast. Costs the same as modified until you factor in tires, then modified becomes more expensive.

I suppose you're imagining that all of the aftermarket farkles and being a member of the motor of the month club are necessary to be competitive. They're not.
