Kinda interesting to see the 22 sct as a low rider.

This truck doesn't have trailing arms.
Changing the lower shock mounting position changes how much leverage the wheel has over the shock. The further in on the arm the shock is mounted the more leverage the wheel has. This makes the shocks "softer".

Just bought a new 3.0 and I am looking for a rear sway bar kit. TLR334038 is now discontinued. Is there a new kit for the 4.0 or 5.0 that would work?

Any word on updates to the SCT? This 3.0 has been around for over 3 years. Hesitant to buy one if there is another one coming anytime soon.

People have been asking this question for a long time...and, there's been no word...not even any hints from Frank. If you really want the "next gen" 22 SCT, your best bet is to do what many others have done - buy the 3.0, do the laydown conversion, and incorporate the shocks (and a few other parts) from the 22 5.0 buggy.

This is pretty much what the guys are doing with Kyosho.

I recently purchased a used 22SCT that came with a bag of springs. I'm trying to identify the springs, but there are three different lengths and I'm not sure they are TLR truck springs.
Can someone tell me the proper unloaded length for the front and rear springs? Shocks are correct at 41.5 ft / 50.5 rr.
Thanks.
