Frank,

Any updates on the truck's availability? Still looking like the first of the year? Also what shock springs come in the kit?
thanks

Anyone know if the body mounts are in the same location as the 2.0?

From what I understand, you have to run a thicker oil to get the same effect. Obviously that's neither an advantage nor disadvantage. I'm assuming there has to be an advantage of some sort.

The one that's similar on the 22-4 2.0 is narrow, in designing them for the narrow pivots of the 22-4 they must have discovered something that works better that they standard gear diff.

Hopefully they'll get the pictures taken of it this week so it can be announced and therefore can be pre-ordered. I'm also curious to see what exactly it's going to look like.

That is correct. 40 and 50K is not uncommon on a planetary diff. I'm wondering if strength is a factor...final drives in heavy equipment are often planetary design

We are running 50K in our 22-4 diffs. I would expect to be higher in this car when it comes out. I was running 50K in a 2 gear setup running the losi gear diff.

Has anyone built up the production kit yet?
I am wondering how the fitment is? If I remember correctly the 22 3.0 first run had some front-end fitment issues.

These haven't quite shipped yet. Should be any day.

Im sticking with my 2.0. I don't like shorties. Not enough capacity or MAH in those.
Sure it makes it lighter weight but I'm so used to having a higher MAH like 7000 or more.
Mid motor is a problem for me because I race outdoors a lot so mid motor isn't good for me.

You can run a brick pack. For more weight and higher mah.

I used to have the same opinion about mm cars on low grip tracks.

This latest generation of Tlr cars produce so much more rear bite than previous models. And then Bolt On the 4-gear Trans.

Good to go for low grip.

They have brass rear pivot block to add more rear weight in low traction conditions as well.

This truck produces series rear traction from what I have seen so far.

I plan to run a brick pack in mine when I get it. I use a brick pack in my mid motored 22T 2.0 with the 3 gear tranny conversion, along with the 35g rear brass weight and my truck drives GREAT in both high AND low traction track conditions.
