some buggies seem to balance better with certain mah packs.

But in general I have found that as a good rule of thumb 5000mah is sufficient for the tracks out here for 10 minute mains with sufficient power against the competition.

Good point never thought about that.... I'd like to corner scale my buggy and see what it looks like with the different battery's, just have a issue with dropping a bill on scales to do so hahahah


I guess where I'm going with this topic is that in most if not all forms of racing reducing weight helps darn near everywhere from a performance perspective.... and I see guys buying and using heavy battery's that more than double the run time needed for a 10min main and just feel like that leaves some performance on the table....
