Default Im Back ESC Questions for b44.3

Hey guys Finally Back and just purchased a slightly used B44.3 on Ebay. im going to go thru it and change all dif oils and shock oils, anyways my question is its coming with a reedy sonic 13.5t motor already but no ESC, what will be a good ESC to use with this motor, mainly going to be indoor clay track some hard pack out door tracks ones in a wile. Picked it up with servo and this motor for 180$ already got a Spektrum dx4s on its way. and about to order batt. is most people running 2 s on b44.3 ??

Reedy is a good choice for speedo and a 2s shorty will be all you need. You might want to cut some 78T spurs if you're going to run 13.5 to get the gearing....

well i was thinking of getting a better mottor ones i get the feel for the car again. Will this 13.5 work on a traxxas stampede for my son ?? he wants his truck to go faster. i was thinking of going with a 8 or a 7.5 later on the b44.3

I suggest the hobbywing v3.1 120 amp esc. Works very will with the sonic motors and will allow much faster mod motors if you like. I would also suggest using the shorty battery setup.

should i just stick with a blackbox 1000z ?? seems like the hobby wing ones are more expensive. IDK what happen i remember in the past they where the cheap priced ones lol.

Hobbywing is well worth the money and the 3.1 has dropped in price since the "new" one has dropped.
