I'd like to get my son a rtr 1/8 buggy to have some fun with. I can get the serpent quite a bit cheaper than the new v2 typhon, and the serpent was released a couple of years ago now but is it still a good buggy compared to the new typhon? Parts wise serpent parts are easier to get where I am.

I have several of the Serpent race kits and the quality is great! Even though the rtr is a little different parts wise, I imagine it will still be durable and high quality. I dont anything about the typhoon, but if the Serpent is cheaper and easier to get parts for it sounds like a win win!
