Default old school item questions

Hey guys i have some questions, a buddy of mine went into a storage place and got a couple speedos and a few motors.
the speedos are as follows

Tekin TSC 411P
Tekin Sport TSC 408
Team Novak T-4

And the motors say the following on the labels

team losi "Double Trouble" outlaw stock
Pocket Rocket <--Thats all it says, label is hot pink in color
Kyosho Le Mans 240ST

Can anyone tell me any info on these, COuld he put them in a car and be competitive or are they too outdated, He says the guy put them in there about 10 years ago. Any info would be nice. I can add pics if needed

You can find the specs on the Tekins here-

http://teamtekin.com/product_specs.asp

The 411p is a great little speedo and you can still be competitive with it today. The 408 is a light duty unit and probably shouldn't be used with anything more than a stock motor.Don't know about the T4.The motors are all pretty much worthless for racing, but might be good for practice. If the motors are like new in appearance they have a certain "collector" value.

The Pocket Rocket I think was made by Twister. The Lemans 240 ST was the motor that came in alot of the late 80's early 90's KYOSHO cars. all worthless but cool pieces to remind some of us how long we been into this money pit, I mean HOBBY!!!!

The Novak esc was a very early Novak entry level esc. Other info listed for the other items is also correct. Very little value, but you could still get some milage out of the items in some applications.

Ahhhhhhhhh{enter flashback music here}, the 408S. 408 meant it could handle 4-8 cells, don't remember the motor limit, but I did run an old 17T at one time. I had that ESC for 12 years, never stuttered once. It had the innovative(then) "Solder Pop Fuse", which was just that, a blob of solder that would pop apart when overloaded.

Whew, stepping out of the wayback machine!
