Never had an issue with nose down on this truck. I have always been able to control with throttle input. This could be solved with revised front arms and change the wheel base on the front similar to the rear hub adjustment but this will not be done on the 3.0 as the truck is in production and on it's way. TLR uses the inserts to change the kickup/Caster adjustments. SCTE has always jumped better then the tekno from what I have seen some may disagree with me on that but my personal observation. The truck will tend to be nose down however I have never had it be an issue even on massive jumps outdoor or indoor. I don't see this change being added to the SCTE anytime soon but I don't make those decisions. That change would require a revised front end.

Casper,

I thought the change would be as simple as modifying the front inserts to be able to shift the pins in or out (as well as up or down). If there is an issue with clearance between the arms and the diff casing, I can see your point.

Thank you,
Glenn

The inserts are up and down. You would need different mounting blocks to change the direction of the inserts. I am not sure what kind of clearance there is to angle the arms as well as front end width issues that might result. There is more to look at then just the insert issue.

The front end is already setup to adjust kickup. I suppose in theory you could change a pivot to make one of them adjust front toe but that is what the steering link can be used for. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here.

I just looked and I couldn't find any. The LiveRC video feed was awesome, but it doesn't look like they converted any to videos you can watch post-race.

Default springs?

Just pre-ordered my SCTE 3.0!!!!!!
Will this truck share the same shocks as any other TLR vehicles? If so, which one? I'd like to purchase some different shock springs and components ahead of time. Thanks!

Also a bit off topic, if anyone would like to recommend a motor combo and steering servo feel free to PM me

It uses 22 shocks so almost all main stream shock springs fit for a 10th scale SCT or stadium truck. We recommend our 22SCt springs.
