What's your favorite servo for 4wd buggy 1/10?
I'm looking for something with under .09 response time (high speed) 6 and 7.4v options (high voltage), titanium gear and super durable, full size servo, a smallish depth from output gear relative to the mounting ear 14mm or less. For instance the Savox 1258TG has a depth of 17mm from the mounting ear to output gear, I'm looking for something with 14mm I believe it is?
I'm currently looking at the Hitec HS-7940TH, any opinions? I have experience with the Futaba BLS471 and the gears shear off much easier. I also have had the Savox 1258TG, which I like besides the fact that the mounting depth is different than most and hard to fit, it's not that fast, and its loud, but its very durable.
Also, what's a good alternative to my low profile servo for my XB2, which I have the 6270, it's super fast and smooth, but I've heard they don't last long. If it breaks, what do you all recommend with similar speed and size, but more durability?
Cheers

I think you can find a highest servo to provide you with ample specifications. There's a big guy on here that talks about them frequently.

I just built a new B44.3 myself and am wondering what servo to get. I planned to get the Savox 1258TG myself because it has worked so well in my B5m, but the clearance issue does concern me a bit. I know there are other people out there using the Savox in a B44.3 but I don't know how much trouble they had to go through to get it to fit. I know in my B5m I had to take away the servo mount washers to have enough clearance. I know there are other great servos around $100 but I hate to spend that much, especially when I know the Savox works great and is only $60.

The reedy servo 1208 always works great for me I run them
In my sc5m t5m and b5m
Savox are just too loud they work flawless just the hum noise
Gets old

Hitec 7940.
The brushless version is mo-better. But kinda overkill, and serious $$$.

DT7950? I didn't mention that. I mentioned the HS-7940TH Hitec servo. What do you mean?
Yeah, the gears were sheered =[
Which model number is the brushless? I didn't see that one. Are you talking about the HSB-9360TH, even though by description thats for helicopters, not sure if that matters...

I'd pick the 9360th for brushless. The 9370 is good for 8.4v Nitrobuggies. FYI: The slower gear ratio's in the 70 and 80 are more durable. Also, the 7955 is more durable (and slower) than the 7940.
Personally, I prefer the "feel" of the regular brushed coreless motors. Really splitting hairs though.

It's between the 7940 or the 9360. Which do you think would be more durable? The 9360 because of brushless?

in order to make my life easier, I run 1 servo in every car. 8th and 10th. I chose the Savox 1268 HV servo. If you compare it to the Savox 2274 (which Ty Tessman uses and won the worlds with) it has almost identical 7.4 numbers for 8th scale and more than adequate numbers for 10th.
Specs:
Speed - 4.8V - .15
Torque -4.8V - 160.0
Speed - 6.0V - .13
Torque -6.0V - 208.3
Speed - 7.4V - .11
Torque -7.4V - 347.2
