Yea, I have heard of theX5 kit. It combines the XXX-4 drivetrain with the XX-4 suspension. I'm not a huge fan of the XX-4 suspension (because I race SMOOTH tracks), but for your tracks, you would probably be better suited running the X5 or XX4. The kit takes the best of both worlds, and throws them together.

Like I said, I wouldnt run it, but you could probably pull it off.

Check out 4 Wheel Drive RC if you want more info on it!

i would love to own a x-5 kit but man it seem's a little sus you swapping all this new stuff for my second hand stuff,......don't you?
don't get me wrong i'd love to swap if your happy doing so i just want it to be a fair swap for you too.
either your not worried about money or you want a xx-cr which arn't made anymore plus your li-po packs and brushless and all that is't cheap so um yeah i would like to swap. it just come's as surprise that your willing to swap all that for my xx-cr if i get it rtr.
advise me if im wrong but i would need to have a bit of a guarantee that i would recieve the swap in the mail........however do not get me wrong and take it personally but i just need a more guarantee'd way of transaction,it's just how i am about transaction's over the internet im sure you understand
it sound's good that's why i offer you my kyosho inferno as well but if you want the xx-cr rtr that can be done. just give some garantee of transaction.
(something like a postal inspection or safety station via postage if you know what i mean). we can think of something.
thankyou regard's Aaron.

Nah, nothing going on on this end. I still race an old CR on occasion, and parts are getting HARD to find. It is a cool car though, and it always helps to have one around for parts. Still no luck on the X5 though, downunder. Trying to find one for a good price.

Aaron, if you're really worried about trading, would you feel better if I shipped to you first???

ok how about if you send your's then ill send all the cr stuff when i recieve it at the post office like a c.o.d if you like, but i send my package instead of cash........
ill try to find all the part's i have for the xx-cr also i have a digital speed control, a futaba 2 channel reciever and a futaba servo and all the servo arms for it too which i will send with it, if you want them i can send the battery pack's too, seeing as though your throwing in a brushless/speed control mine is a one button set speed control with tamiya plug, ill check out the specs after and find the instruction for it, i think it has low voltage cut off too.

will a 13.8 volt 1.5 amp power supply be ok for the li-po charger?
or will i have to get a higher amperage power supply.

Hmm, I really don't have much use for low-spec electronics like that.........Maybe we could work out some kind of roller deal????

I did find an X5 kit, (a brand new XX4WE, and the conversion kit.)

[read this from the previous post]
to confirm a deal... if you do ill swap right away hoping that the brushless is a modified under 12 turn's (i did say hope did'nt i). I can also throw in a brand new set of badland tyre's(with foam's), add that with the newly replaced badland's on the rear (used only a few tank's). will make a full set of new badland tyre's (front & rear) if you take the 50% tread knuckle's from the front wheel and mount the brand new one's.
