Anybody know how to mount a Nova Rossi with a standard crank in a FT RC10GT without cutting the crank?? Thanks!

Ummmm....if you are referring to the one in the pic, that's a no-go. You must use either a standard fully threaded crank that has been cut down OR a short shaft engine. The pilot shaft model in the pic won't work.

Darn, can that one be cut down so just the threads remain?

Nope. You might be able to buy a threaded or short crank somewhere, but I don't know for sure if they make one for that engine....

If you cut that crank, all you would be doing is ruining the engine....sorry man!....

You could do it using a traxxas clutch and clutchbell setup. But you will not be able to get a wide range of bells like from ae. I'd look for a crank to swap in there.

Aaah Traxxas clutch would work? T-maxx has quite a few clutch bells I think or I could run a bigger spur??...

Thats the same engine I've got in my GT, SG shaft and all. Here's the howto on installing it.
