Boys, Boys, Boys i no most of you came from america and u dont really support them, but the new yokomo is going to rack a few wins against both, i think! just think how domaniant the xx4 used to be/still is, and look at the layout for the yoke (WED JIM isnt this layout what you wanted )

tony2: I had a MX4 and luv'd it....Lot's of local guys ran them.
Then the Mr4 series came out.... I think I saw one of those.....

I sold my Mx4 before the Mr4 came out and was ready to get it......(until I saw it) They went from a world class kit to a toy...
Not sure how the new one will be.... Looks nice, but

I have a little red box here waiting to be put together also(zx5)

[QUOTE=T.

But in my opinion, the JRX4 proto type would only work its best on a super smooth track.[/QUOTE]

Well Losi Boy, the JRX-4 was a concept just that. They wanted a lighter car to try out on the track. It broke..Reports from the race said it will not ever go into production..as Losi says.

I think for 4WD, lighter is not always better. Now say they did a CF chassis with a modified molded backbone cover for the belts and diffs..I could see it going into production. Say a cross between the XX-4 and the JRX-S with the molded belt/diff covers adapted to fit the JRX-S drive system with the batteries still down the middle...The backbone would have to clear above the batteries slightly. Or individual covers for the belts linked and stiffened across by where the motor mount attaches, and where the covers attach to the diffs...Any thoughts?

i remember the days of having a 4wd. wish i still had one. the entry's for that class dwindled bad in my area...but now that we have an electric points series, 4wd has picked up like crazy! (hi J_P!). there i get a chance to see 3 to 4 different cars on the track. so far i've seen the BJ4, xxx4,xx-4, and the Academy 4WD pro. all the cars looked good, but my dream is to have a pivot-ball off-roader. (hmmm.... i wonder if there's a way i can convert my old X-ray T1x to a mod birt-burner. )
