Default What are some essintial mods I should do to my XXX-NT RTR2?

I'm thinking I need titanium turnbuckles as I've already popped one off. I hit the side of my shed.

What kind of turnbuckle do I get? Model? Number?

What other mods should I get?

Ti turnbuckles and some grey ball caps are the only must have things.

Never mind. I now realize what the grey ball caps are. haha.

Now if I went to a local hobby shop. What brand are the turnbuckles?

The AD2 pivot block is a lot stronger than the stock pivot block. If you smack the truck up against a board, you will more than likely break the arm and just have to replace that, but otherwise, you'll probably break the pivot block, in which case, you'll have to tear apart the entire rear end to change that (loosen tranny, pull both hinge pins, etc.)

Plus, like Dave said, it offers more traction. Ask any stadium truck guy: We look for traction any way we can!!!!!!

What's wrong with the roto starter? I love that thing.

You could have more traction with the stock Pivot Block if you wanted

I run the Trinity aluminum pivot block, so I'm not too worried about it. I just thought I'd break down what Dave said.

Pullstarters are convenient, but they are a poor way of starting an engine, they add 60g's of weight and they add more turning resistance to the engine.
