Default SC10 issue

First let me apologize because I'm fairly sure this is a common problem that has been answered many times but my ability to use search functions to locate what I need is atrocious.

I have an SC10 2wd it has been a very nice vehicle, quite refreshing compared to the Jato 2.5R I started on. Last weekend while running my SC10 it just stopped. When you hit the throttle you can hear the motor wind up and spin the slipper clutch but the tires won't move. After removing the cover I see the slipper clutch still looks practically new. On a hunch I slide the wheels back on and attempt to roll the truck forward, without the spur gear on, only to find it won't roll. Is my transmission locked up or something else wrong?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm not familiar with the sc10 but it sure sounds like you've broken something in your driveline. Start taking things apart until you find what's broken. Paying particular attention to any gear sets, good luck!

Default Sc10

Had the same thing happen to mine, opened the trans and found a bunch of teeth stripped of the idler gear locking up the trans. Hope this helps!
