so what cameras do you guys recommend to get the widest field of view and what do you recommend for goggles?

Wow, this is awesome. It just doesn't need to be a 40mph car in fpv mode to look fun. I'd love to see a field of these racing each other around a go cart track. The sound system makes it really cool. What camera system is that? What radio do you use?

Normally most FPV camera have 120 degree FOV (Field of view) by default, my early build was using 808 #16 HD (720p) keyhain camera but on my K949 build its on RUNCAM HD (1080p). For FPV video goggle buy the most quality top notch model as you can either SKYZONE or FATSHARK brands, usually SKYZONE have best value for everything in one package while FATSHARK had the best visual but left the user high and dry to churn out extra cash for add-ons. My tips: Don't go cheap on video goggle or you'll ruin the FPV experience.
