Last night I put all the rusted parts in a small tub with undiluted vinegar. You pour just enough to cover everything. You will notice that the drive shaft the brown coating was dissolved, but I ended up throwing them away as the ball where the pin goes was too worn out anyways.

After letting it sit for about 30min, this is the rusted hinge pin.

Using the drill to spin the pins and such with a fine grit sandpaper 600-800 we managed to revive some of the parts for reuse. Metal polish after to give it a nice protective coat and shine.

For the wheel axles I will spray some clear coat enamel to prevent oxidation.

ook the whole rainy weekend to redo the car. Brand new chassis with the set of stainless screws as well. New front drive shafts and new pins etc for the rear drive shafts. All new fluids, turnbuckle measurements, brand new suspension arms. One thing with the arms, they were a PITA to ream them to make sure the hinge pin be free and the arm drop on its own. Setup is the default one.

I just realized looking at this pic that the top turnbuckle on the front knuckle screws are not tightened.
