Default front one-way option?

Let's talk option bits!

I was wondering if the front one-way assembly off the MR-4BD touring car will fit in the front of the BX? Does anybody have both and could take some measurments for us? If not, does anybody know if yokomo is planning on having a front one-way option for this car?

In the Yokomo DVD about the BX masami describes the front one way as an option part. So I guess it is coming ?

Default MR-4BX parts

Here is the parts list for MR-4BX.
Not sure it listed all the parts, but I found this at Yokomo USA site.

http://www.yokomousa.com/newproducts...t_BX_parts.htm

The front one way #BX-640B

Well, it would appear my guess was right. Unless it actually IS slightly different, the part numbers are very similar. Touring car = #BD-640b; new off-roader = #BX-640b. Is that how yokomo does their parts numbers? the same part for a different car gets a similar yet still different part number? Curious.

cool, thanks Racing-Drive. I've looked at that list many times already. I'm not sure how I missed the one-way all those times!

Is it possible to use 4s lipos in this buggy?
The chassis is pretty small and its even hard to make a big brushless controller fit the chassis.

What do you think, guys? I'm thinking about getting one of these and run them with brushless system to reach some high speeds like 60-70 mph.

First off, I don't think you'll be able to get 60-70 mph out of any off-road buggy, and second, why would you even want to? High top-speed sounds nice in theory... up until you lose control and crash.

I'm only a basher. I like to own a top of the line machine and take it through extreme conditions. Also, I was able to push my B4 over 60mph easily with a Knotronik Fun480-42 brushless motor with a Castle Creations esc and 10 nimh cells with ease. To reach the 60s and the 70s has become very easy today with the Brushless technology. One of my friends pushed his Kyosho 1/8 buggy to 86mph with a nitro engine and I believe its fairly possible with electric buggies today. My only priority, now, is if I can put 4s lipos in the BX?!!

Thanks,

Alawi El-Jifri

There were 3 in the A final I think also, with cragg and bradby down in the B with alternate shock towers and shocks (i think) on the rear, obviously dint work well.
nice pics!!!! when will you do a review in your site?

Hey all! I got 3 buddies who just got the BX and I'm trying to help them out with a set-up that should work very well at our track. I actually run the BJ4 but you can bet the Yokomo and JConcepts racers at our track are more like teammates when it comes to battling the larger group of Losi boyz. Anyway, since our track does have a number of similarities with the 05' IFMAR Worlds Track in Italy (especially on hot & dry summer days), could someone point me in the right direction and help me find the set-up used by either Neil Cragg or Masami at the last Worlds?! It certainly would be very much appreciated...

Thanks!
