today my son was running his sc10 when he change a new battery and plug it wrong now the truck won't move steering its good car just wont move but when we give it a lill push it runs fine as long its rolling when it come to a full stop wont move until we give it a push what could be the problem esc dint smoke and the battery wasn't plug all the way when this happened it was a quick spark nothing mayor

ESC. My bet would be there are 1 or more blown FETs. In the amount of time it takes for you to plug the battery backwards, get an arc and pull it apart, the damage is done. My advice would be to change the connectors to something like Deans where it's impossible to plug in backwards and there is no chance of this happening again. http://www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-...-wsd1300/p3596

Good advice on the connectors - Personally, EC5 is the way to go - much easier to solder. bullet connectors.

I appreciate the pointers just wasn't sure never had that happened to me my son thinks his a pro now he spend to much time watching to many YouTube videos should known better to let him do he's rc with out me plus HK stuff not relievable live and learn ..
