Hey guys I'm new to rc, my brother in law just got into it he has a few acres we are currently building a track and some random jumps. I want a monster truggy, I've decided it will be the best choice for what I'm going to do with it.

So far from the reading I've done the mt4 g3 is a great option but it needs a few things upgraded and has very little aftermarket support (the chassis bends even with a brace, shock towers are weak and no one sells upgrades that are in stock) I was thinking I could start with a truggy slap on some Mt tires a shell tune the shocks? And maybe end up with a better truck in the end. I've concidered a tlr 8ight E T 3.0 it should be coming down in price when the 4.0 comes out shortly.

How can I get the toughest water proof monster truggy that can take abuse for under 800 bucks max? Hopefully less

If your looking for a monster truggy you should also look in to the ARRMA Kraton. Its a good basher for the price.

I'd recommend the Tekno ET48 because I think it will work very well with what you are trying to do with it. It is very durable so you will be able to bash it anywhere pretty much. It is also a race truggy so when you build your track you will have a very competitive setup. It isn't waterproof unless you get waterproof electronics. I recommend you buy one used though because you get more car for your money. Just make sure if you buy used that you buy from a seller with a good rating.
